Djinn Genie London Limited are looking for operatives to work at our UK factory in Leicester (Midlands)
Dressmaker/ Seamstress / Sample Machinist / Quality Controller
Must be able to speak, read and write English
3-5 years experience required.
Previous experience is necessary and experience working with a variety of fabrics is required- stretch, woven, silk, satin, prints, print placement.
Must have experience with a range of different areas- womenswear, menswear, sportswear, evening wear.
Experience working on all types of garments requires- dresses, blouses, trousers, tailoring, jersey, sportswear.
Must be able to use an industrial sewing machine and overlocker with confidence, and experience on other machines will be an advantage (coverstitch, twin needle, binder, flatlock)
Must be able to work to a good speed and excellent quality.
Djinn Genie have been an established company for over 25 years working with high end designers.
Additional skills such as pattern making, fabric cutting and quality checking would be advantageous.
This is a full time, permanent position (working hours are Monday- Friday 8am – 5pm)
28 days holiday including national bank holidays
Salary will be dependent on experience and can be discussed during interview
Accommodation will be organised for the first 6 months
